1. How do I enroll in the program?
Please follow these steps to enroll in our CDL Class A training program:
- Stop by our facility at 35 Old Skokie Rd, Park City, IL 60085
- Bring your valid Illinois driver’s license. It must be valid for at least one year.
- Fill out the registration forms.
- Make your first payment.
- Attend an orientation session.
2. When does the next class start?
You can start your training Monday through Saturday, often on the same day you complete registration.
3. What are the classroom hours?
Classroom training runs Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Behind-the-wheel classes are scheduled individually with an instructor. Early morning and late afternoon hours are available. Classroom training hours are subject to change. Please call us for more information.
4. How long does it take to complete the CDL Class A training program and where are the final exams taken?
The average time to complete the program is about 4-8 weeks. Students take their final CDL exams at Kotra Truck Driving School’s facility, making the testing process more convenient.
5. What type of transmission do your trucks have?
We provide training in trucks equipped with 10-speed manual and fully automatic transmissions.
